FeverCos Legal Disclaimer

1. Intellectual Property & Character Reference Disclaimer

FeverCos provides "stylized fiber products" for use in costume play, theater, and artistic expression.

  • Non-Affiliation: FeverCos is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsed by any animation studios, video game developers, or comic book publishers.

  • Character Names: Any use of character names, franchise titles, or copyrighted terms is strictly for descriptive and comparative purposes. We do not claim to sell "Official Merchandise." Our products are independent, artistic interpretations of popular hairstyles.

  • No Copyright Transfer: Purchase of a product does not grant the buyer any rights to the intellectual property of the characters the product may resemble.

2. Material & Health Liability Disclaimer

By purchasing and using our products, the buyer assumes all risks associated with the use of synthetic materials.

  • Dermatological Warning: Our wigs are made of synthetic heat-resistant fibers. FeverCos is not responsible for any skin irritation, scalp conditions, allergic reactions, or hair loss resulting from the use of our wigs, wig caps, or adhesives.

  • Eye Safety: Keep wig fibers away from the eyes. FeverCos is not liable for any ocular injuries or irritation caused by loose fibers.

  • Pre-Use Inspection: The buyer is responsible for inspecting the product for any loose parts or defects that could pose a choking or safety hazard before use.

3. Styling & Heat-Resistance Disclaimer

While our products may be labeled as "Heat-Resistant," this is subject to technical limitations.

  • Tool Temperature: FeverCos is not liable for products that melt, frizz, or are destroyed due to the use of styling tools (flat irons, curlers, etc.) exceeding 120°C (248°F).

  • Irreversible Modifications: Any styling, cutting, or chemical application (such as dyeing) performed by the buyer is at their own risk. FeverCos provides no warranty for the success of such modifications.

4. Visual & Olfactory Accuracy Disclaimer

  • Color Representation: We strive for accuracy, but due to different lighting conditions (studio vs. convention hall) and monitor calibrations, we provide no guarantee of color matching.

  • Packaging Scent: Synthetic fibers may retain a "factory scent" or "plastic odor" due to the manufacturing and airtight packaging process. This is not a defect and will dissipate with airing. FeverCos is not responsible for sensitivities to these odors.

5. "As-Is" Sales & No-Warranty Clause

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeverCos provides its website and products on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular cosplay purpose. You use our products at your own risk.

6. Indemnification & Legal Cost Recovery

The buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold FeverCos and its owners harmless from any and all third-party claims, damages, or legal fees arising from the buyer's use of the product, including any legal challenges brought by copyright holders due to the buyer's public display of the product. In any legal dispute where FeverCos prevails, the buyer shall be liable for FeverCos's legal expenses and attorney's fees.
